Leading global manufacturers of tri-metal strip steel are involved in our constantly developing generations of turnblades. Our planer turnblades comprise three layers – thus, a sandwich technology. The centre part of the blade consists of soft steel that can be easily profiled. The two cutting edges, the sharpness of which is critical, are solidly welded. They consist of extremely high-quality HSS-M42 material with 24.8% alloy components. Beyond the sharpening and honing, the cutters feature a counter-ground and mirror/polish-ground cutting edge, which enables significantly improved planing results and a noticeably longer life.

The Trimetall Technology makes our turnblades environmentally friendly and is also resource-saving because the valuable raw materials are only used in the cutting area.
