The knife-setting device.

For all cutter block diameters and knife projections. Easy handling and precise position of the knives. Extremely powerful permanent magnets pull the knives – even without any help of springs – up to the desired cutting projection.

The set consists of:

  • 2 cutter-setting devices in a wooden box
  • 3 shims for adjusting knife projection

THE BARKOMAT IS EASY TO USE.

Adjustment: Place BARKOMAT on any position on the arbor and loosen the locking screw. Select the height adjustment lamellas (e.g. 1 mm), place on the arbor, and press on adjustment magnetic bolt. After tightening the locking screw, the BARKOMAT is adjusted.

Blade adjustment: Push the articulated foot close to the back of the planer blade, tighten the screws of the blade pressure strip (starting from the inside outwards).

Note: For table adjustment, mark the stop line for the articulated feet and planer blades.
